Daiwa Saltiga SJ AGS TG Slow Jigging Rods
The TG or "thrill game" models of Daiwa's rods indicate rods that are meant to pull hard, mainly because they utilize solid carbon fiber blanks. These models are specifically made for slow pitch jigging which benefits from the continuous even bend of solid carbon with enough recoil to jig effectively. These rods don't really shut off they keep bending which distributes the force throughout the blank but it doesn't really get you more line back it just makes these rods a lot more durable.
These rods can handle more bend and more pressure within reason compared to most other slow pitch jigging rods, but they are still thin and light. These rods utilize Daiwa's AGS "air guide system" which is fancy terminology for carbon fiber guide frames which are a bit lighter than titanium but also introduce some extra stiffness.
